About The Exhibition

Swiss businessman and art lover Emil Georg Bührle was known for his stunning private art collection of major works by French and Dutch Impressionists and Post-impressionists, such as Cézanne, Gauguin, Van Gogh, Monet and Renoir. After his death, the collection of masterpieces was exhibited in Buhrle’s villa in Zurich until 2015. It will soon be transferred to the Kunsthaus Zürich, an art museum in Zürich, and this exhibition is the last opportunity to see the entire collection prior to the transfer. The exhibition features a selection of 64 works, including Monet’s “The Artist’s Garden at Giverny,” Cézanne’s “The Boy in the Red Waistcoat” and Camille Pissarro’s famous “Snow at Louveciennes,” with the majority of paintings being displayed in Japan for the first time ever. The exposition runs through Mon, May 7, 2018.  For more details, click here.

To enter to win this prize, simply leave us a comment below telling us why you would like to see the exhibit, and sign up for our mailing list using the form below. Winners will be chosen at random on March 16, 2018. Good luck!
