Mia was born in Japan and educated in Europe, where she spent most of her childhood and young adult life. She studied music and education, and worked for several years in marketing for major international corporations. She now lives in Tokyo with her husband and two children. When she's not playing the role of supermom, she enjoys writing, golf, exploring the city, and dining out with friends and family.
