Icon, Omotesando

Tokyo certainly has no shortage of cool clothing boutiques, and now shoppers can add a new destination to their lists: Icon, located in a residential-style space in the back streets between Omotesando and Shibuya.

The shop’s director is Eiji Hatanaka, the man behind Idol, an über-cool cafe-bar-shop-event-space in Aoyama. The creative duo Erotyka (also known as Tiffany Godoy and Tomoyuki Yonezu) acted as a “total creation partner” and designed the shop’s logo and typeface. In addition to stocking brands such as Kris Van Assche, J.W. Anderson, Ann Demeulemeester, T by Alexander Wang, John Lawrence Sullivan and Haider Ackermann, there is also a pop-up room that will offer limited-edition items and exclusive designer collaborations.
