Established in 1872 as innovators of international education in Japan, Saint Maur International School and the Ecole Francaise de Saint Maur continue to meet the needs of children (co-educational, two and a half years to grade 12) from the multi-cultural, multi-faith international community.

Located in the residential and historical Yamate area of Yokohama, near Tokyo, the school is well serviced by public transportation, being close to train and subway stations, as well as several bus routes.

Facilities

The Saint Maur campus houses four main buildings, which include an award-winning fine arts center and a gymnasium. A short distance from the main gate is a dedicated, state-of-the-art science center which opened in 2011. All classrooms and regular recreation areas are on one site, thus avoiding students having to regularly crossroads or leaving one campus to reach another.

The campus has modern and well maintained facilities, which include classrooms, recreation halls, computer labs, a cafeteria, library, tennis courts, and several outdoor play areas. Saint Maur also owns an outdoor sports complex, Peverley Place, which opened in 2003 and is located only a three-minute walk from the main buildings.
