80s Disco Dance Party!

If you're anything like us, you never miss a chance to shake your booty and bop your head to some classic 80s tunes, whether you're listening to your earphones at work, blasting the stereo while pouring yourself an evening cocktail, or even singing in the shower. Finally, there is an event in Tokyo designed just for people like us, so we can bring our love of 80s tunes out of the closet and onto the dance floor.

This April, the Grand Hyatt Tokyo will host its first 80s themed disco event, dubbed “I Love 80s Disco.” It will be held in the hotel’s Grand Ballroom, a 1,000 square meter, rectangular-shaped, pillar-free venue with a 6.6 meter high ceiling. The venue will be converted into a large night club with glittering mirror balls and adornments, where guests can dance the night away to the best of the 80s classics, spun by a professional DJ.

Tickets include unlimited beverage service throughout the evening, along with a snack service available until 10:30 p.m.

When: Fri, Apr. 11, 8 p.m.-12 a.m.

Where: Grand Ballroom (3F), Grand Hyatt Tokyo, Roppongi Hills

Tickets: ¥13,000 including free-flowing beverages, plus snacks until 10:30 p.m. Guests to the event can also enjoy a 10 percent discount at restaurants and bars in the Grand Hyatt on the night.
