Summer Events, Fireworks And Fun In The City
Though the rainy season might not be quite officially over yet, the summer is certainly upon us and so are a number of events to celebrate the season and beat the heat. The weekend sees the first fireworks in the capital happening just a stone's throw away from Kitasenju station, a beer garden in Hibiya Park, a summer lights event at Tokyo Midtown and the opening of a hidden beach paradise in Kamakura. Adachi Fireworks
Adachi-ku says that the Tokyo fireworks fiesta starts with them and promise you that the night will be unforgettable, so get ready. The sky will be lit up by 13,500 fireworks, including a Niagara-inspired lights show and Adachi's one and only shidarezakura (weeping cherry tree) fireworks spectacle.
