Shine On! Kids 10th Anniversary Cool Japan Extravaganza
Shine on! Kids, a Tokyo-based foundation supporting children with cancer and other serious diseases, is celebrating its 10th anniversary with a special event, titled "Cool Japan," inviting you to come, share and support. Dress in something "cool" (a.k.a red, white, and black) and enjoy a night of good food and drinks, auctions, raffle, entertainment, dancing and fun for a good cause.

Scarecrow Festival
Kakashi Matsuri
Originally started 42 years ago as a local festival to boost the spirits of all Tohoku-region residents living in the Higashi Azabu area, this community festival installs kakashi (scarecrows) all over the town as a symbol of neighborhood solidarity. On the agenda this year are amateur karaoke and speed-eating competitions, musical performances, Japanese taiko live shows and the announcement of this year's best scarecrow! How can one miss that.
