Furusato Matsuri Tokyo 2017
Visiting all of Japan's 47 prefectures is a time (and cash)-consuming experience, but luckily a few people got together and came up with a single festival that brings the best of the best all the way from Hokkaido to Okinawa. Come and explore traditional Japanese performances, regional matsuri recreations, local specialties and more from all around Japan. One of the largest cultural events of the year, this one is a real gem.

Hot Pot Date
Nabe Hut 2017
Surrounding a hot pot with your family and friends in the beautiful city of Yokohama is a perfect way to warm up the stone cold weekend. This nabe hut event can be enjoyed in two ways: one by making your own special nabe by choosing among the all-time favorite ingredients and broth, and another by leaving it up to the pros and taste the best of Japan's regional nabe pots. To spice up the event, a strolling guitarist will be going around singing songs per request so get there with a favorite tune ready in mind!

Takashi Homma: Twenty Six Gasoline Stations/ Royal Road Test/ Babycakes
A photographer first coming to light in the ‘80s before moving to London for i-D magazine, Takashi Homma frames gas stations, sweets, and other objects and sceneries in our everyday lives, inviting us to take a closer look in what we usually fail to notice. The title of his latest project, Twenty-six Gasoline Stations, refers to a series by Ed Ruscha and suggests the intention of the book to serve as an homage to the legendary lensman.
