Loved all over the world, this event is everything anime. One of Japan's biggest anime conventions, Anime Japan exhibits many of the country's most beloved anime shows and manga comics and how they are made/produced. This year's theme is 'rock,' and you’ll see your favorite characters dressing up to coordinate. They recommend you to do the same!

Sport Day
Tokyo Outside Festival 2022
Organized annually since 2013, the Tokyo Outside Festival is one of the largest outdoor family events in Tokyo. It features a wide array of outdoor activities and workshops for the kids, including “treeing,” a new take on tree climbing, bungee/trampoline jumping and, strider bike rides. There will also be food booths and outlet stalls. It’s a great place to play, experience, shop and eat outside while enjoying the sunny weather. Worth mentioning–it’s also free!

Magical Sakura
Sakura Festival Nihonbashi
Nihonbashi has a mission to become the capital's coolest sakura viewing venue and, we must say, it's getting quite close. This festival features a series of sakura-themed events: from projection mapping, light-up, sakura-special food and drink menus and more! A must-see is the Nihonbashi Sakura Gate—a magical entry to the area, which has the entire street turned into a sakura-filled river, with a sky of countless sakura-colored strips of paper. Following a number of cold weeks, the sakura around the city has finally started to begin to bloom. Although in most areas it may still be a little early, walking around in search of the cities secret sakura spots is a fun way to spend the weekend. Head to the store on your way home and prepare yourself a home hanami picnic with some sakura snacks and hanami decorations.
