Modernity And Elegance
Exhibition: René Lalique
Tracing the history of René Lalique (1860-1945), this unique exhibition observes the elegant works made of glass during the zenith of Art Deco, early in the 20th century. On display are 220 carefully selected examples from the Kitazawa Museum of Art’s Lalique collection, as well as a special exhibit from the former Asaka family collection and vases that the Showa Emperor brought back as mementos during his travels in Paris before he ascended to the throne.

Cat Festival

Treasure Hunt
Yoyogi Oedo Antique Market
Set in the south side of Yoyogi Park, this treasure hunting spot is a smaller one than its parent market, the Oedo Antique Market, which is held at the Tokyo International Forum in Yurakucho. Yet, with 150 stalls, it is large enough to find what you're looking for, so don't hesitate to drop by. Most of the goods are Japanese, antique, vintage and old.

Snow Fever
Sagamiko Resort's Snow Park
We haven’t been able to see any snow in Tokyo yet this year. Sagamiko Resort in Kanagawa, however, has got us covered — its Snow Park is a vast area (6,000 sq. meters) covered in snow where kids can play all day long, ride they sleds (or tubes!), build snowmen and enjoy the winter weather to the fullest. Best thing? It's so close to Tokyo that you can easily make it a day trip! Plus there are heaps of other attractions around the resort you can enjoy as well.

Tokunoshima Festival
The Tokunoshima Festival is the largest product exhibition and live-stage event in Japan from the Amami Islands and Tokunoshima. Various potato dishes such as potato butter, potato tornado, and potato soup using fresh spring-first potatoes will be sold. For those looking for a sweet alcoholic drink, try the brown sugar shochu made from sugarcane. Eat, drink, dance and enjoy the charm of Tokunoshima in Tokyo!
