Mitama Matsuri
Held annually to honor the spirits of the deceased, Yasukuni Shrine's Mitama Matsuri is one of the biggest summer festivals in Tokyo. Some 30,000 lanterns will guide your way to the shrine, while a variety of performances, food stalls, traditional stages, and games will keep visitors entertained day and night. One of the most famous and picture-perfect summer festivals in Japan, regardless of what your views on the controversial shrine are, this one is a must go!

Umi no Hi Lantern Festival in Odaiba

A Futuristic Wonderland

TeamLab Borderless can be described as less of an exhibition and more of a digital amusement park.
