Online Event: Vogue Fashion's Night In 2020
Every year fashionistas from all around Tokyo gather out to attend this massive one night-limited Japan franchise of the global event by Vogue. However this year the event will be held online, and for two weeks long! Aimed to celebrate fashion, participating stores will wow the crowds with unique sales, giveaways, and special events. Online appearances by key Japanese celebrities, including model Mari Natsuki and Hikari Mori is also on the agenda.

Spooky Kaleidoscope Tunnel
Halloween in Sumida Aquarium
The Sumida Aquarium is holding a special Halloween version of the jellyfish exhibition in their “Kaleidoscope Tunnel”, which has approximately 5,000 mirrors on the walls and ceiling. The area is decorated with classic Halloween symbols such as witches, pumpkins, and jellyfish floating in the water tank to look like ghosts out for fun during the Halloween season.

Autumn Nights
Camplugged Festival 2020
Held in Ashigarakami, Kanagawa prefecture, a short trip away from Tokyo, the Complugged Festival will be taking place again for its third year. Enjoy nature at this event held in a field surrounded by trees. You don’t even have to bring anything with you, daily tent gear is available for rent and comes with free drinks. At night the sky will be lit up with LED sky lanterns to calm your mind. A variety of other fun activities will also be held throughout the day such as craft for kids, unique outdoor experiences as well as a bunch of live music performances to watch and join.

Koenji Festival
Another major dance event on the list this weekend, the annual Koenji Awa Odori is one of the largest of its kind in the capital. Roses Are Red
Kyu-Furukawa Garden Roses Bloom
Although the annual Rose Festival is canceled this year, the park still invites guests to take a pleasant stroll amid plenty of beautiful roses at this Western-style Japanese garden. The venue is well known for its infusion of Eastern and Western aesthetics; the western-style building brings back the 1900s British taste, while the garden reflects the authenticity of the Japanese "Wa" spirit. All of this amidst the sight and scent of gorgeous roses!
