A family favorite is located right in Tokyo Midtown. Take pleasure in the immaculately strung lights, reminiscent of falling snow, in the trees out front. Passing the row of assorted Santas, make your way down the magical Starlight Road. The blue fluorescent lights will lead you directly to Starlight Garden to enjoy a three-dimensional illumination show. While quite grandiose, the expansive light show is only a part of Midtown’s Christmas display. Head indoors after the outdoor entertainment to shop the Marché de Noel, a Christmas market offering ornaments, handmade crafts, knitted accessories and an abundance of other seasonal items. Take the kids to the first floor Galleria to see the 1,800 St. Nicks on the Santa Tree, as well as the vibrant colors of the Diamond Dust tree.

Grabbing an early dinner at one of Midtown’s numerous restaurants while waiting for the nighttime lights is a wonderful way to begin your festive family outing. Also, Midtown Christmas staff members are available for guided tours to direct you through the entirety of the attractions, allowing you to embrace the beauty from every angle.

Light Show

Through December 25, Starlight Garden will host a four-scene light show between the hours of 5 p.m. and 11 p.m.
