Good Luck Chimes
Fuurin Matsuri
Hear the sound of the wind from all over Japan at the annual Nishi-Arai Daishi's Wind Chime Festival. Taiko performances, workshops and picturesque sights of rows of beautifully designed wind chimes will keep you entertained and chilled throughout the festival. Create your one and only unique wind chime to bring home or buy one of the wind chimes at the festival as a souvenir.

Local Parade
Ueno Summer Festival
Spread across five whole weeks, this summer festival's highlight event is the exciting 7-hour-long parade starting from Ueno station to Ueno's central street on July 22. As usual, there will also be delicious festival snack food booths, street and ice performances and other entertaining events for the crowd!

Shooting “Stars”
Adachi Fireworks
This popular Hanabi festival attracts over 630,000 people each year. Around 12,000 fireworks will be shot across the sky, creating an enchanted night to remember. As this is one of the most famous firework events in the city, prepare to expect some crowds.

Kitty Sparkles
Sanrio Puro Land Summer Festival
Our favorite Hello Kitty Land is lighting up for a summer festival. Using over 500,000 LED light bulbs, this large indoor colorful illumination will surely give you the best thrills this season. Original summer parades and traditional Japanese performances featuring Sanrio characters will also be performing until September. No doubt here, this is one of the most exciting summer events for the kids!

Gotta Catch 'Em All
Edogawa Goldfish Festival
Fish for good luck at the Goldfish Festival this weekend. Known for its love for goldfish, Edogawa will be hosting a fish scooping competition, art shows, and aquarium fish exhibits for people of all ages to enjoy. Catch as many as you can and bring them home as a memory of a lovely summer!

Shinagawa Water Terrace On The Green

A Charlie Brown Kind Of Summer
Peanuts Gang All Stars
In celebration of Snoopy Museum Tokyo's first anniversary, more than 200 new exhibition pieces are added to the existing collection. A new interactive theater and original comic strips will also be open to the public as well. Charlie Brown fans won't want to miss on this one.

Walk On Fire
Hachioji Fireworks Festival
What separates Hachioji from other firework festivals is the fire festival before the show. Watch monks walk on fire barefoot to pray for world peace and good luck. As the night falls, enjoy over 3,500 shots of fireworks bloom above the summer night sky.

Bells of Love
Enmusubi Fuurin 2017
Enjoy a romantic walk with your significant other amid the sound of wind chimes (fuurin) and a beautifully illuminated Hikawa shrine. Enmusubi, the word for "forming a strong bond" is a hint here, so dress to impress and get in a romantic mood. Walk down the path decorated with over 2,000 wind chimes, take a stroll near the illuminated river, or try some wind chimes-inspired sweets and goods at the Musubi Cafe near the shrine. It's going to be a night to remember!
