Rag & Bone Pop-Up Shop, Shinjuku
Since it launched just over a decade ago, Rag & Bone has grown to become a favorite among models and celebrities for its cool, effortless look and well constructed, high quality pieces. The brand enjoys a strong and growing business in Japan, and starting next Wednesday, for one week only it will be holding a pop-up shop at Isetan Shinjuku, where fans can score a whole range of exclusive and collaboration items.
The pop-up is intended to show a cross-section of Rag & Bone’s aesthetic and identity. On offer will be popular items from its men’s and women’s lines, including boyfriend shirts, tuxedo jeans and hooded sweatshirts. But there will also be several exclusive items that are not available anywhere else. These include a whole range of lifestyle products that the brand’s designers, David Neville and Marcus Wainwright, created with some of their favorite companies in the U.S., their native England, and other countries around the world.
There will be chocolate bars from Mast Brothers, whisky from Kings County Distillery, beer glasses from the Brass Monkey bar in Brooklyn, backpacks from Japanese brand Porter, and notebooks by Smythson, to name a few. Tokyo shoppers will also be able to score a pair of the Rag & Bone Hunter boots for which fashionistas on both sides of the Atlantic have been going crazy. Plus, there will be 50 golden tickets hidden inside the chocolate bars (Willy Wonka, anyone?), the recipients of which will win either a handbag or one of the Smythson notebooks. So mark your calendars, because the shop is only open for one week.
