Girls' Day Celebration
Hyakudan Hina Doll Festival
Hotel Gajoen Tokyo in Meguro is celebrating Hina Matsuri (Girls' Day) with a stunning display of ornaments set up at eight of its most graceful rooms. The annual decoration, which attracts thousands of visitors every year, features around 500 dolls on display, collected from across Japan.

Daruma Doll Fair
Jindaiji Temple in Chofu will be hosting one of the biggest daruma doll markets in Japan with over 300 stalls selling the iconic red and round traditional good luck figures. The unique scenery featuring dolls scattered across the temple's grounds and in front of its gates is a must-see event for visitors and residents alike. Experience this traditional Japanese festival that dates back to the Edo period.

Changing Ruins Exhibition 2019
Ruins and abandoned houses are often viewed as dark, haunted or decaying places. This photo exhibition, however, will instead focus on the beauty of ruins in a bid to "change" your mind about these locations. This exhibition is a great way to experience breathtaking beauty that sleeps among silence. The exhibition will also feature a special video booth where the ruins will be projected on the walls to allow for the realistic sensation of actually being there.

Yokohama Bread Festival
If you love the smell of freshly baked bread, you have to attend Yokohama’s Pan no Fest (Bread Festival) — the largest of its kind in Japan with over 80 bakeries from across the nation selling warm, freshly-baked bread. The festival takes places at the famous Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse and it's perfect for anyone into food, cooking and creative bread chunks.

Exhibition: Women And Goddesses In Ancient Egypt

Time After Time
Heiwajima Antiques Fair
The Heiwajima Antique Fair is the oldest and most famous antique fair in Japan. It dates back to 1978 and each year gathers over 280 vendors from all over the country. The event takes place five times per year (March, May, June, September and December) and displays a massive selection of Japanese, Asian and Western antique goods during its three-day run. You can find anything from furniture, ceramics, baskets and dolls to kimono, vintage clothes, jewelry and more.

The Organic Festa is a once a year event that gathers organic farmers from all over Japan that create food products without relying on agricultural chemicals or chemical fertilizers.
