Japanese Tea Awards
Tokyo Tea Party 2021
There’s nothing better than a cup of tea on a cold afternoon. This weekend, come taste the top 20 selected tea leaves chosen from 503 contestants and cast your vote for the best ocha of the year. Presentations and special talks can also be watched online for free. The main event takes place on Sunday, during which the Platinum Prize winners from the Japan Tea Awards will be presented. Visitors can take part in and taste different tea blends. A perfect event for tea enthusiasts.

Empower Karen Refugees
Online Event: Virtually Walk The Trail To Friendship Bridge
Join this challenge initiated by REI, and let your feet make a real impact. This virtual walk will lead you from Hpa-An, main city of Karen state in Myanmar, to Friendship Bridge on the Thailand border. Internal displacement continues in many areas of Myanmar as ceasefire agreements are broken. Education, job creation, legal and human rights, and environment and community building are the four pillars that influence the types of projects that REI select to empower Karen refugees. By joining, you too can support them as you walk, run or cycle locally with friends and family. Your progress will be shown on the map and when approaching major cities, you’ll have access to street view and will experience some of Myanmar for yourself.

In Business Without Really Trying
Musical: How To Succeed
How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying is a musical by Frank Loesser and a book by Abe Burrows, Jack Weinstock, and Willie Gilbert, based on Shepherd Mead's 1952 book of the same name. The story follows a young, ambitious J. Pierrepont Finch, who, with the help of a book, rises from a window washer to chairman of the board of the World Wide Wicket Company. This musical will be presented in Japanese by a Japanese cast, unfortunately with no subtitles.
