Get Ready For The Year’s Most Exciting Shopping Event, TAC’s International Bazaar

Save The Date: Tokyo American Club's Beloved Event Is Back!

From holiday gifts to accessories, home decor, porcelain and fashion, Tokyo American Club’s charity International Bazaar has a bit of everything for everyone.

November is just around the corner, which means the holidays will be here before we know it. And you know that “holidays,” unfortunately more often than not, means last-minute shopping, hectic running around the city and ending up stuck in queues for much longer than we need to for our sanity. What you can do to avoid this is to start your shopping now and leave the holiday season for actual celebrations and quality family time.

Good news is, there’s a great event that can help you achieve exactly this — so get your wallet ready and head down to the Tokyo American Club on November 7 and 8 for its annual Women’s Group International Bazaar.

A great variety of high-quality goods

This popular two-day massive sale offers a wide variety of goods, including holiday gifts, handmade jewelry and accessories, washi and lacquerware, vintage wear and kimono, home decor, art, wood pieces, porcelain, eco-friendly and fair trade collections and other unique items from 52 vendors this year, including 13 new additions.

Among the vendors are a number of Tokyo-based foreigners, too, who have established their businesses in their home away from home. Among them are Marisa Gelencser’s EcoHachi, a collection of organic and reusable beeswax food coverings and Alex Morrow’s Turquoise Port, selling colorful and eye-catching Asia-inspired home decor, interior and accessories.

There is also Clara Nakazato’s Treasure of Earth, a gorgeous collection of Japanese Arita porcelain, a traditional craft she encountered through her Japanese husband.

The event is also the Women’s Group’s biggest fundraiser of the year. In addition to getting in a little retail therapy and scoring some great finds that will help you check off at least a few names from your gift list, shopping at the bazaar helps you to give back to the community. One hundred percent of the proceeds from the sale will support local charities selected by the Women’s Group.

The event is free and open to the public, so mark your calendar and open up your gift fund—this is one event you won’t want to miss!
