Isabel Marant Pour H&M Hits Tokyo
Isabel Marant has become a celebrity favorite and a worldwide fashion force with her effortlessly chic, modern clothing. Her styling prowess in particular is something to be envied, and she was even able to make wedge-soled sneakers a sought-after item. But unfortunately for many of us, her Parisian-cool pieces tend to come hefty price tags...which is why we cannot wait to get our hands on her collection for H&M, which will go on sale in Tokyo in just two weeks.
Isabel Marant Pour H&M will hit Tokyo on Thursday, November 14 and will be available at the Ginza, Shibuya and Shinjuku stores (friends elsewhere in Japan, do not fret; you’ll also be able to find it in Nagoya and Osaka’s Shinsaibashi). The teen collection, which is freakin’ adorable but will make your kids seem like they have even more of an attitude than they probably already do, will be at Shinjuku only (with a few select items carried at the Nagoya and Osaka stores).
The collection launched with a star-studded street celebration in Paris on October 24, drawing the likes of January Jones, Audrey Tautou, Freida Pinto and Alice Dellal.
“We wanted to present the collection in a way that felt real and casual, not a red-carpet extravaganza; this is how I see my work. I design for everybody and am constantly inspired by the world I see around me, so it felt natural to have an urban setting as the backdrop of the event. And it had to be Paris, because the city is part of my DNA,” said Isabel Marant.
Isabel Marant Pour H&M has already generated significant buzz on fashion blogs the world over, and Japanese consumers are notorious for their love of queuing, so expect long lines come the 14th.
