This Week: At Home And Around Tokyo For January 24-30
Art, Plan And Study
It feels like New Year's was just a few days ago, but time moves fast and here we are — ready to welcome the last weekend of January! Starting next week, Japan will be fully getting into a romantic mood for Valentine's, but before we get down to the chocolates and candy, here are a few events you wouldn't want to miss. Have a great week(end) ahead!
Literature in Architecture, Architecture in Literature
The Waseda International House of Literature
Celebrating the recent inauguration of The Waseda International House of Literature, also known as the Haruki Murakami Library, an inaugural exhibition entitled “Literature in Architecture, Architecture in Literature” is being held. With several books about architecture on display and an invitation to discover the imprint of Murakami’s work in Kuma’s mesmerizing building, this event brings together the best of both worlds. As a preventive measure against the spread of COVID-19, visitors are requested to book a date and time for their visit through the website.
