Art Fair Tokyo is typically Japan's largest art fair, and this year's event will include exhibitions by a total of 97 galleries from all over Japan, as well as overseas. From works by up-and-coming contemporary artists to valuable antiquities and museum-class pieces, there is something to catch the eye of every art lover.

In addition to paintings, photographs and antiques, Art Fair Tokyo will also include a section dedicated to applied arts, such as crafts, glasswork and jewelry. Called Tokyo Limited, this area debuted at last year’s fair, and will be returning again this year. The popular Japanese fashion brand Matohu, which uses custom developed fabrics and references nature and traditional Japanese design in its collections, will also present a range of clothing, accessories and other items in an installation and retail exhibition.
