All across Tokyo, the holiday season is in full swing, with illuminations, Christmas trees and inflatable snowmen at every turn. If you’ll be spending Christmas in the city and don’t feel like cooking (or picking up a bucket of KFC), check out the Christmas dinner offerings at some of Tokyo’s best hotels and restaurants. From fancy French courses and Chinese dim-sum sets to a traditional turkey dinner, there are plenty of options available, but read on for some of our top picks.

Park Hyatt

The New York Grill will be serving a decadent course including dishes such as foie gras terrine, smoked haddock and leek chowder with Yellowstone River caviar, poached Atlantic blue lobster, grilled Kamifurano-Wagyu sirloin, and chocolate mint ganache.

Cascade Café’s legendary Christmas lunch and dinner buffets are excellent value for money, with delicious offerings including grilled New Zealand green mussels with herb butter, roast turkey with cranberry sauce, grilled French foie gras with port wine sauce, seared tuna loin salad with black sesame sauce, and smoked duck breast with lentil bean salad.

Imperial Hotel

Les Saisons, on the Mezzanine level of the 124-year-old Imperial Hotel’s main building, is offering lavish, multi-course Christmas lunches and dinners created by award-winning chef Thierry Voisin. Dinner will include French sole, Bresse chicken and an abalone dish. Prior reservations are recommended.

Traditional Christmas dinners at The Imperial’s very popular La Brasserie, in the Imperial Tower building, will be served for six days through Christmas Day.
