Scratch Coding

Ideal for beginners, Scratch coding introduces students to the fundamentals of programming through an engaging and visual platform. These classes focus on nurturing creative and technical skills as students learn to develop their own interactive stories, games and animations. With both beginner and intermediate levels available, young coders can advance at their own pace under the guidance of expert instructors, like Nick, who brings a wealth of experience in teaching Scratch.

Scratch Level 2: Saturdays, 1 p.m.-2:30 p.m.

Minecraft Coding

Turn your child’s favorite game into an educational experience! Tokyo Coding Club’s Minecraft coding classes offer a unique way to explore the principles of coding and game design. Students will not only learn to code but also develop problem-solving skills as they create their own Minecraft mods and mini-games. These classes, led by the knowledgeable Nick, are perfect for students looking to merge play with learning.

Minecraft Foundations 1A: Saturdays, 10 a.m.-11:30 a.m.
Minecraft Coders 2A: Saturdays, 2:30 p.m.-4 p.m.

Digital Design

Python Coding

Python remains one of the most versatile and in-demand programming languages today. The Python coding classes cater to both beginners and advanced students. Led by Jaime and Dash, these classes are ideal for students looking to enhance their coding skills and tackle more complex projects.

Python Foundations 1A: Fridays, 5 p.m.-6:30 p.m.
Python Level 2: Tuesdays, 5 p.m.-6:45 p.m.

Robotics

Learning robotics is a great introduction to engineering and other STEM fields. This beginner Robotics class is the perfect way to get started.
