Tokyo's Wildest Festival
Asakusa Sanja Matsuri
The wildest one out of the three major shrine festivals in Tokyo, Sanja Matsuri celebrates the founding fathers of the famous Asakusa Senso-ji Temple. The traditional music and dance performances at the well-known parade on Friday attract millions of tourists and locals alike every year. This year's festival will be socially distanced with many parts canceled for the public but there's still a chance to see some of the highlights as long as you follow the safety precautions.
