November is just around the corner, which means the holidays will be here before we can say "bounenkai." Don't get stuck criss-crossing the city in late December looking for the perfect gifts for friends and loved ones; instead, get your wallet ready and head down to the Tokyo American Club next week for its annual Women's Group International Bazaar, a two-day sale offering a wide variety of holiday gifts, home decor and unique items from over 50 vendors.

You’ll find everything from Christmas decorations to jewelry, handbags, porcelain serving dishes, beautiful Japanese obi accessories, children’s clothing and toys, and much more. It’s the Women’s Group’s biggest fundraiser of the year, and a popular event among Tokyo residents and visitors alike.

In addition to getting in a little retail therapy and scoring some great finds that will help you check off at least a few names from your gift list, shopping at the bazaar helps you to give back to the community. One hundred percent of the proceeds from the sale will support local charities selected by the Women’s Group.
