Jazz, Fireworks And Fun In The City
Return from your Obon break in style, ready to have fun over the weekend. On the agenda are two major fireworks in Tokyo, a jazz festival, a women-only pool party event (yes!!) and more. Enjoy the heat!
Boom, Boom, Boom
Meiji Jingu Gaien Fireworks
One of the largest Tokyo fireworks festivals, the Meiji Jingu Gaien hanabi attracts over a million of spectators annually since it's initial start in 1980. Watch some 12,000 fireworks light up the sky from the festival's three locations: the Jingu Stadium, the Prince Chichibu Memorial Rugby Stadium and the Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium. Live music shows will also be held simultaneously at all locations.

Shout Your Heart Out
Yokosuka Yell Competition
Finally a place where you can officially shout your heart out and rather be arrested for it, you actually may get a prize! This weekend, head to Yokosuka and give it a try at its annual yell competition. The rules? Say what you want and set yourself fre — but shout louder than your competitors to win the prize.

Jazzy Days
Sumida Street Jazz Festival
Aiming to promote Sumida as Tokyo's No.1 music city, this annual festival gathers 400 bands performing jazz and other genres at around 40 indoor and outdoor stages. The highlight is a special performance by veteran saxophonist Malta and Japanese Jazz legend Isao Suzuki. On the agenda are also dance performances, various events for the kids and more.

Pool Adventures
Women Only Pool Party At Hilton Tokyo Bay
Bring your swimsuit and friends and join this amazing women-only pool party. It will be a fun night of drinks, dancing, live music and networking. Almost like a scene from Gossip Girl, but without the drama. Tattoos allowed.

Just Dance
Minami Koshigaya Bon Odori
Held for the 33rd consecutive year, the Minami Koshigaya Bon Odori Festival is one of the largest and best known summer festivals in Saitama and sees two full days of various bonodori styles and rhythmic sounds. Wear a yukata and celebrate summer the traditional way.

Tamagawa Fireworks
