8 New Makeup Products To Try This Fall
The Newest And Coolest On The Market
Autumn is here and as with the foliage outside, it’s time to change the colors in your makeup collection.
It’s that time of year when cosmetics collections featuring this season’s autumnal colors like dark earth tones or burgundies and reds for ruddy cheeks are released one after another. Whether you prefer a subtler or bolder makeup style is up to you, but we’ve picked eight new releases to highlight the fall tones you want to show off as the leaves change color and the colder weather moves in. Here they are!
1. Majolica Majorca’s Melty Gem
This season’s versatile gel blush Melty Gem from Majolica Majorca comes in four fall vivid colors and creates a lovely luster when applied. Though sold as a blush, don’t feel restricted to only use it on your cheeks — it can easily be used as eyeshadow and lipstick, too. The color payoff is way too beautiful to miss out.

2. Anna Sui’s Lipstick V
If you’re looking for a lipstick that lasts all day long, is rich in color, hydrates your lips and comes in ten different colors — this is the one. Plus, it comes in a lovely design that’s just too catchy to miss not only for yourself but as a gift, too. The best thing, however, is that this stick will stay intact for hours after application, thanks to a special hydration formula that makes it easier for the color to stay on — the color is easier to attach when the lips are moist, after all!
Where to buy: Isetan, Mitsukoshi, Sunshine city, @cosme and Anna Sui stores
How much: ¥2,800
3. Three’s When the Leaves Dance Collection Kit
This limited edition collection contains one eyeshadow palette with four colors and a lipstick. The eyeshadow palette has three basic colors (orange, vanilla and brown) and one burgundy — I recommend to use the vanilla color as a highlight of your eyes, the brow bow and the inner corner of the eye. The lipstick comes in a rich red color — just what’s in fashion this fall! This is a limited edition collection, so hurry up and grab it before it’s sold out.

How much: ¥7,800
4. Kiss’ Loose Powder
During this dry season your skin can feel patchy when applying powder to finish off your base, but luckily there’s a product that can help you avoid this. The brand Kiss just recently released a “loose powder” under its new concept of having a “more refreshing, lightening and organic” touch. Apply the powder lightly with a brush or a puff after applying base foundation for a soft and luminous result. Almost transparent, it won’t feel like you’ve even applied anything on your skin, yet your face will be well protected against the sun’s rays.

5. Maquillage’s Dramatic Styling Eyes Eyeshadow Palette
Shiseido’s brand Maquillage has released five different eyeshadow palettes for the season, but our personal favorite is Raspberry Mocha. The five autumn-inspired colors are perfect for both a daytime and nighttime outing, regardless of whether it’s work or a date. What’s even better is that this palette offers a whole eight hours of endurance! When applying, start with the light beige Eye Foundation Base color, then apply either of the three (or a combination of) Melting Gradation Colors, then finish with the golden Luster And Point Color to emphasizes the form of the eyelids with exquisite luster and brilliance.

6. Majolica Majorca’s Lash Jelly Drop Ex
Another Majolica Majorca product on the list that is both revolutionary, and immensely cool! As much as we use makeup to emphasize on our colors and look bolder, it’s essential to also spend some cash on products that don’t do much visibly, but do a lot to keep your skin, hair, and lips healthy. In this case, this new “no makeup mascara” is a beauty essence for eyelashes that nourishes and treats each lash individually to make them healthy and lustrous. In other words, it revitalizes and moisturizes your lashes, while also giving them a volume and length boost just as other mascaras would.

7. Shu Uemura’s Super Mario Bros. Peach’s Eye and Cheek Palette
Not a typical beauty product name you’d expect from a Japanese high-end makeup brand, but Shu Uemura likes to surprise and get innovative — even if it means collaborating with our favorite Nintendo man. The limited-edition collection features everything from Super Mario-designed cleansing oil, shampoo, lipsticks and more, but we haven’t been able to take our eyes off the Princess Peach-inspired palette featuring two cheek and four eyeshadow colors. The palette has all the colors you need whether going for a bold or more feminine look. The colors are all metallic (except the rouge) in-line with the fall trend.

8. Creer Beaute’s La Rose De Versailles Super Black Eyeliner
The latest product in Creer Beaute’s best-selling eyeliner series is the Super Black eyeliner, released for the 10th anniversary of the company. Long-lasting and non-smudging, waterproof and easy to apply, this is a go-to-buy product for any woman out there! Did we also mention that it never ever runs out?
